This is a personal site for myself Deanna Brett. My husband made this for me because he is totally awesome. My intentions have always been to have a blog of my own, that my family can check in on from time to time. I love to write, and I’m not saying I’m good at it, it’s just something that brings me joy. I plan to use this space to write, vent, chat, and post pictures of my family and my two amazing cats! Why must I have a blog to keep in touch with my family? Well it’s because I’m lucky if I see them once a year.

Now a tid bit about myself. I’m 26 going on old, and I live in Ontario Canada. I was born in British Columbia and I miss it so much. I grew up near the ocean, and doing what more islanders do best, enjoy everything around them. I used to fish, camp, hike, and enjoy all my little spots that took me a life time to find.

I moved to Ontario in 2002 with my daughter to live with the most incredible man that I have been so blessed to have ever met. Since then, I have started a new life, in a new place, with new people all around me. I’m still looking for my place here, searching for those spots.Until then, my husband Matt and my daughter Hannah bring me the most joy. I am so grateful for them.

I can’t leave out my cats as well, I am crazy about them, Shiznit and Gaius. They are the only two furry creatures in my life that make me so happy, and drive me crazy at the same time. I could go on forever about my cats but I’ll save that for another time!

My other favourites are, movies, candles, pillows, cuddling, and candy! All of those in one night and I am a very happy girl.

My message to the world: Get your head out of your ass, and do something for the world, before it’s too late. Whether it be recycling, picking up garbage, conserving, or shutting your car off a little bit more. Stop idling your car, and avoid drive throughs. Trust me you can get your double double faster if you go into the store, you’ll be dunking your donut in no time!
