Thirty Eight/Nine Weeks Pregnant
Published January 19th, 2008 in PreggersWhat I am craving : Nothing really……just the usual, cereal, grapes and stuff.
What’s happening with me : Well I am having tons of false contractions, which leaves me hopeful that this will be the end to this waiting game! I want to meet this little girl!
My last day of work was on the 17th, and it couldn’t have been a better night to end it on. It was busy, people were friendly and I left with $160 take home, not too shabby.
I have been busy around here lately, knowing that I will be going for a c-section in a few days. Cleaning and all that great stuff, “nesting” to the fullest! I think I’m more concerned that I can’t eat anything all day rather than the actual operation…..silly huh? Well when your as pregnant as I am and somebody tells you your not allowed to eat, it’s very disappointing.
Well I guess this will be my last post until she’s born unless she turns by the 22nd and I get sent home. We’ll it’s been dandy! Now I have something to look back on. Cross your fingers she’s born on the 22nd!!!!!!!
Weigh in : 136lbs from my last doc apt on the 15th for a total weight gain of 28lbs
The Baby : Is ready to be born!

Holy damn, just a couple more days to go!
Hey so, I was thinking… want to do this again in a few months or so?
Just wanted to let you know that I have been reading all about this new addition to your family for awhile now. That big day is here, and I am praying for a safe and healthy delivery. Having had a c-section for my first and natural delivery for my second, I also prayed that the baby will have turned. As for the not eating, it totally sucks. What’s worse is that it’s not even totally nessesary, they just don’t want to have to clean up a huge mess if you throw up. It’s probably a little late to give you this tip, but if you can, avoid the morphine, it tends to be the biggest stomach upset after surgery. There are other drugs for pain that cause less upset. Man, I don’t even know you, and I’m totally fretting, and excited, and anxious. Enjoy your new blessing, and post picture as soon as you’re able. Best wishes!
