The First Week.
Published January 30th, 2008 in Baby, BlogrollIt’s been just over one week since Addison was born, I can’t believe it! I know she’s going to grow up so fast, I hope time slows down! We’ve had Matt’s mom, my MIL ( mother in law ) staying with us since Addie was born, and I can’t tell you how nice it has been. She has spoiled us really. Cooking, cleaning, watching over the baby, and of course she’s great company. All I have to say to all of you people out there with bad MIL’s haha sucks to be you! No seriously though THANKS SHELLEY!!!
Speaking of Shelley, she’s actually leaving us tomorrow. I’m looking forward to see how Matt, Hannah and I handle things on our own. It will be nice to see how life will be, just the four of us…… Matt and his gals. Don’t get me wrong I would love it if she stayed with us longer, but I am curious to see how our routine will change. This is it, just Matt and I and our beautiful girls. I have faith in us though, I don’t think we will kill each other, not right away that is haha!
I can’t wait to share each day with my family! I know this little bundle of joy was brought into our lives for a reason. I am so happy to be part of this family, I love them all so very much! One week down, a lifetime to go.

You know, your zeal and the fact you look forward to new life with just the four of you, really makes me look forward to a family of my own some day. And as for Matt wearing that Turok shirt, i thought “Only Matt…” hahaha
Little “D” you have not changed a bit! Loved your blogg and pictures, thankyou for sharing! It has been many years and your still remembered as Little”D”. Matt, Deanna, Hannah, wow has she ever grown! and little Adison, so cute! we wish you all the best and congratulations!

Haha no Hummer. No worries about Addies name, I keep calling her Hannah. It’s kinda hard to wrap my head around the fact that I have two kids now….Crazy! I’m getting OLD!
Not crazy at all LD, take it from me life just gets better and better. The ride we are on goes faster and faster so hang on, the ride will be better than any Hummer let me tell you…LOL… I have to tell you this one, it was about two years ago now I thought of you. I was driving down douglas street in town and was side by side with this black Hummer 2 I couldn’t see a driver. It was going the same speed I was about 35 clicks, here is the thing I would speed up it would speed up. Same thing when I slowed down, at first it was freakin me out. Then I was LOL, I thought this person must know me. Who do I know that is so small that they could pull this off LD you were my only guess. The light turned red I stopped, the Hummer kept on going. Who is going to argue with a Hummer right! I didn’t catch up to it so I don’t know the ending but this is mine. Happy Valentines Day to all!!
