Matt’s 26th Birthday Weekend.
Seriously…..ALL weekend! It was cool. Matt’s mom and sister came up from Michigan and spent the weekend hanging out and doing things. We went to Matt’s uncles Garfield’s place on Saturday and chilled by the lake. Unfortunately I had such a chill that day I couldn’t enjoy the beautiful weather. Everyone else was wearing tank tops, not me I was sporting my freaking winter coat!
Hannah was playing ball with her Nana, Matt was skipping rocks in the lake, I was wondering around collecting rocks and taking pictures. The lake was so calm and beautiful! I have never seen it so peaceful!
I gained a few pounds that day though, so many yummy treats! Rice crispies squares, brownie cookies, shortbread, cake, choc chip cookies! You can bet my ass I ate at least one of everything! By the time we left I could hardly move, it took a day to recover, I hardly had anything on Sunday. It was totally worth it because Matt’s family…..whoa they can bake!
I really wanted to post some pictures that I took, I just love looking for a good shot! I hope you had a good birthday baby!

Hey I got honourable mention, kewl! It was a great weekend, I love it by the water myself, something very soothing and calming. Deanna, you forgot to mention our wee jaunt to Port Perry on the “official” day with Matt’s grandparents and the great fish’n chip dinner we had. Unfortunately Hannah could not join us as she had school but we all got to share the strawberry/rhubard pie a la mode, mmmmmmmmm scrumptious!
